7. kayaker here ...
mrs. wt2 and I have a favorite trip we do across Lake Champlain ... we start off in Button Bay, Vermont and go across the lake to the marina in Westport, NY ...

on the way out, we're looking into the Adirondacks including Whiteface Mountain and Mt. Marcy ... the marina is a great place to have lunch ... and on the way back, the view of the Green Mountains includes Camel's Hump and Mt. Mansfield ...

it's about 8 miles round trip ... we only go out on the calmest days ... Lake Champlain is huge and can get some serious swells ...
