1. My desert tortoise likes cats
He hangs out with them and is not afraid of them at all.

They think he's weird, but are gracious enough to share the sunny spots with him.

3. We had a young female Beagle dog named Gypsy
and not long after she came to live with us I adopted a kitten. I already had a grown cat that Gypsy liked to tease but mostly Yummy the cat ignored Gypsy like she ignored everyone else. Well when I first got Howard (a little grey tabby) both the dogs, Pansy, a Beagle mix, and Gypsy were curious and smelled under the bedroom door. After about a week I decided to let the little guy meet the dogs. Gypsy immediately started playing with Howard. They played all during their younger years providing us with hours of entertainment.

Those two grew old together in the same house, and every morning when they would come out of their perspective bedrooms they would always touch noses in greeting with each other.

This was before the age of digital cameras, I really should scan some of my "analog" pictures into the computer of these two.

4. Our bird terrorises our dog
Our bird is a wee cockatiel. Dog is a 40 pound mutt, and is the stupidest animal on the planet that isn't a member of the Bush administration.

The bird terrorises the dog. The cats won't attack the bird. The rats attack the cats with no retribution.

It's just bizarre. Of course, the cats have gay sex, too.

Us damned liberals.
