"You see now... If the guy who's running the ball, whether it be the running back, Uhh... The fullback, The-uhh, halfback or even a lineman on rare occasions... If he runs the ball, and then gets TACKLED... By a defensive player, That there-then that means he is down... He's tackled, see, and then the referee has to spot the ball where he was tackled..."

He is absolutely one of the worst sports commentators in the world. I have stopped watching MNF over him.

He didn't actually coach a Super Bowl Champion team.

Personally, I like his style. He'll overstate the obvious several times a broadcast, good for a chuckle though. But he does know his football.
