from the Christian guide to arms, a page on why we can't own the most modern military weapons:

one time, every type of military weapon was available to the American freeman. Citizens could acquire the latest and best infantry, cavalry, artillery, and naval technology. As the cost of some of this armament rose, citizen militia groups pooled their resources to acquire and maintain the more expensive arms.

Imagine buying the latest 'Naval Technology' right now. Where would you put the Polaris missles, the nuclear submarine, the Tomahawk cruise missles?

i'd put the Polaris missiles in the back, they'd go well with the rhodendrum.
The tomahawks are a bit tacky, so they'd go off to the guest house/servant quarters.

and the submarine would go in the marina dahhhling.
