You beat me to it. That's exactly what I was going to post. Pepsi tastes too sweet and syrupy and even slightly flat to me. Coke has a nice bite.

An intense debate over brown carbonated water? Yup, the advertising industry sure knows how to generate a (non) debate.

25. If you buy the Coke around Passover, you can get it with actual SUGAR,
Edited on Thu Feb-24-05 04:47 PM by BrklynLiberal
since the corn syrup is not allowed during Passover, Buy then and stock up. If it says "Kosher for Passover" It is made with Sugar, not High Frustose Corn Syrup

Boycott Coca-Cola!

By Andy Higginbottom

25 July, 2003

"We ask Coca Cola to stop killing ... and you to stop drinking Coke" Carlos Julia, SINALTRAINAL, Colombia

An international boycott of Coca Cola products will be launched this Tuesday. Its main aim is to stop the policy of violent treatment that has left eight Colombian Coca Cola workers assassinated in recent years. The boycott has been called by Colombian food and drinks workers union SINALTRAINAL and has the endorsement of the country's main trade union federation the CUT as well as the World Social Forum.

PROTESTERS PICKET PEPSI IN SUPPORT OF BURMESE PEOPLE

The voice gained strength as the afternoon sun came out. "Pepsi, get outof Burma," protesters exclaimed.

About 50 Bloomington residents and students gathered Friday afternoon
outside of Pepsi-Cola Bottlers of Bloomington, 214 W. 17th. St., Friday
afternoon. They held posters high protesting PepsiCo's investment in
Burma, a Southeast Asian nation ruled by military dictatorship.

The demonstration was a beginning of a worldwide campaign for a free
Burma, said Tun Myint, 25, an IU student and Burmese political refugee.
Burmese and human rights activists organized the campaign in cities all
around the world to protest the State Law and Order Restoration Council,
Burma's military dictatorship.

More than 50 institutions in the United States joined the protest and
called for the withdrawl of PepsiCo, Texaco, and Unocal, who remain in
Burma where some businesses have already left.

15. Pepsi, i like diet coke better than regular coke though
regular coke tastes nasty. at least when i drink out of the cans.

but i like the taste of coke from mcdonalds. it tates different there than from the cans. in restuarants it usually tates good also.

but for some reason the coke from the can is just nasty. but diet coke is pretty good.

22. Coke Classic. NON-DIET
Edited on Thu Feb-24-05 04:51 PM by BrklynLiberal
I think Pepsi has sort of a too-sweet vanilla undertaste that I cannot stand. Coke has a sort of cinnamon(?),clove(?)...something that has a bit of a zing to it...undertaste. Not so sickeningly sweet.

I am addicted, but try not to drink too much of it.
