to shoot pool. Can you tell I'm a New Englander?

1. That makes me smile
Fellow New Englander here (Vermont) transplanted to California where people have no idea how to drive. A friend and I once drove from Townshend Vermont to New York City in a major blizzard - NYC was pretty much socked in, no school, cars buried. I can't remember what we were going for but we started at 2 or 3 am so we wouldn't be late and just drove slowly. The roads in Vermont and Mass were bad but not ridiculously so - the ones in Connecticut were horrible but we made it with no problem and the city looked so pretty!

Have fun - I love to shoot pool, too! :hi:

6. Very cool
Southern Vermont - grew up in West Brattleboro and lived mostly around there - Townshend, Dummerston, Hinsdale, NH.

Always good to meet a fellow Vermonter. :hi:

7. If you've been away for a long time:
Brattleboro is still its same old wonderful, quirky self. WRJ, though is a ghost town because of all the Vermonters going across the river to save sales tax.

HUGE new fireworks store in Hinsdale (we run up there a couple of times a year from Connecticut to stock up on tequila at N.H. prices).

8. I visit around once a year
I have to get my fix. I also get Vermont Life magazine (and cry when I look at the pictures - what a sap!). I order maple syrup from a couple of farms back there so I can have my pure Vermont syrup. There's just no place like it - I love it here but Vermont is home.

4. Good guess, but wrong...this is the stone truth:
I'll be playing against a very fetching, 22-year-old black-haired waitress. Not that the fact she's a waitress is germane, that's just where I know her from.

The best part? My wife not only knows, but told me to go out and have some fun (limits apply, of course).

Do I have a wonderful wife or what? (I make it a point to tell her that every day, because it's true.)

Snow??? Bah, that won't stop us. Ice storms will but snow won't.
