4. Song of the South, of course!
The best Disney movie ever... and the only one that they won't release...

8. I think because some people have looked upon it as glorifying
the old "cotten" south. I saw it as a kid in a theatre (re-issued) and I enjoyed it, but I would like to see it again now just to see. It can't be any worst than "Gone with the Wind" and all their "darkie" talk.

9. Check out this website
http://www.songofthesouth.net

Basically, it was labeled by Disney (after Walt died) as being too contraversial. Some characters that are still around today in Disneyland and such are:
Brer Rabbit
Uncle Remus
Zip-a-dee-do-dah (main song)
etc.

Basically, since it deals with issues of Slavery, it's far too contraversial.

It's a shame really... the first movie to mix animation with live action.

13. I was just browsing the news on the site and it looks like it will be
released in Fall 2006 (so says an article written a few days ago). Of course, until Disney releases a press release on it, I'm not holding my breath.

11. I love Robin Hood, too. Prince John sucking his thumb and wanting
his mommy. And the song that flows through the whole thing, terrific. I also love Robin's voice.

19. At one time I loved that movie,
but after listening to it a thousand time I cannot stand it.
And I am net exaggerating when a say a thousand times. Where I use to work they played it over & over for the kids in the waiting room that was right next to my office.

21. Me too!
I'm not a big Disney fan, but I can watch that one over and over. Love the music!

My friend's cousin is/was a lead animator for Disney - my friend's kids have sketches on the walls of Aladdin and Jasmine that he drew for them at a family reunion (sadly, for legal reasons, he can only do these sketches on "official" Disney paper)
