Some of the threads here had links to FR, so I HAD to brace myself, clench my stomach and go satisfy my curiosity. I didn't even know what language I was reading, at first. There were so many exclamation marks, tempered occasionally by a hostile-looking bleat of insanity. And I concluded that you couldn't be both an English major and a republican at the same time.

12. Oh! For some REALLY good groveling, self-righteous scenes

I like to watch "Cops"! I really wish the editors would turn the sound down on the sirens, though. It annoys my cat and it annoys me. But it's a show for us voyeurs who like a little schadenfreude to go along with our cringing into our beer. As for the cops themselves, they're either insufferable or they're kind of nice!! "Cops" is really good material.

15. I knew a couple of the cops on one of the episodes.

They said that everything goes crazy when they film-the worst of the worst do seem to come out. It's just like a full moon.
