Thank you for the good press you keep sending our way by mentioning the site on your show. Your millions of listeners are praying for you as I write this and offering every excuse in the book. It was the dealers fault, the doctors fault, the maids fault, the liberal media's fault, The uppity black quarterbacks fault, your back pain etc.

They are so happy that you came clean and told the world of your problems when you did. According to them you've shown backbone and moral fiber. What I want to know, Mr. Limbaugh is why did it take a National Enquirer story and a police investigation into your activites for you to fess up? IS the truth that you never would have told your listeners squat if you weren't outed? Of course they're all talking about praying for him and how he'll come back better than ever. And, of course, how wonderful it is that he's so honest. about his back pain. I know someone with exactly the same problem, and he is not able to go around and do much of anything, let alone play golf.

That being said, I usually have sympathy for addicts. Not in this case, I fear. He is reaping what he sows: he helped bring about the power structure that makes it harder for doctors to prescribe pain meds w/o the gov checking into that doctor to see if they are prescribing "too many".

He only came clean because his cover was blown. Time and time again, he spoke about my friend and loved ones as dirt because they were addicted. Now he wants sympathy for his?

as I do for any other addict. It's a disease, a compulsion over which the addict often literally has little control after they've succumbed, and I have sympathy for how difficult the fight to sobriety can be.

What I do NOT have compassion for is incredible hypocrisy. Stop denying it. Stop lying about it. Stop making excuses. Stop blaming other people. Stop condemning others for your own faults - remember the line about the mote in thy neighbor's eye?

I'll have compassion when he admits his problem and deals with it. (Has Hades experienced a cold front recently?)

Wait till you go through the US criminal justice system...the one you helped create. I hope the "system" has as much sympathy for you as you had for the nameless others, people who had a whole lot less money and resources to deal with their problems.

Maybe that $24MM/year you took for lying shamelessly is the root cause of your pain.
