It sucks being sick. It sucks even more missing an important class.

I got REALLY sick last night. This morning, I felt like shit. REALLY bad head cold. Not the flu, I'm pretty sure, because it's only in my head. I decided to stay in, rest, and drink plenty of 7-Up Plus, that new drink with Vitamin C, Calcium and Splenda. I took my multivitamin already. God, my head feels like crap.

I feel especially bad now, because I have a class today in which we're supposed to hand in a huge project, and I really don't feel comfortable going there and infecting other people. The city's health department has been running an ad campaign for flu season lately basically saying "If you're sick, stay home from work or school. Don't infect other people!!"

Right now, I don't really feel so bad that I'm sick, But I feel terrible that I missed that really important class. I guess I'll go e-mail the instructor saying I was sick, and that I hope he understands.

God, the guilt trip is killing me.

Usually they don't affect me much, but this cold has had me utterly exhausted for four days. It's driving me crazy. I took two cold capsules last night and now have felt stoned out of my gourd all day long. I work at home, but sure ain't getting much done. A huge annoyance!
