2. It has to be on a webserver, then just post the url.

DU blocks some servers, though, like geocities and tripod for example. Your ISP might provide you with some space you could use for this.

Upload the file from your media to the hosting service and type in the URL of the pic to have it appear in your post.

8. Some pages like yahoo /slate

let you link directly from them.

If you are using XP
1. right click on the picture you want,
2. a menu will pop up,
3. select properties,
4. the URL or Address will then be shown
5. copy and paste all of the URL to du.
some of the addresses are pretty long so make sure you get the gif or jpg suffix at the end
