Damned cat hair is tying up my keyboard and making me miss keys!
Edited on Mon Feb-28-05 11:33 PM by KoKo01
I've vacuumed this keyboard over and over...but my cats are shedding like crazy and it's jamming some of my keys...so when I post I read like a "moran" Freeper! Letters are left out when typing because of "sticky key's" with the cat hair jam...YUCK!

I won't get into the grey "sent marks" they leave on my printer drawer and on my Rubbermaid Keyboard pull out.

Anyone else have this problem?

1. 3 cats.but of course
maybe once a year, i pull off the keys one by one and with a damp q-tip. mop the suckers up.
usually when i spill something near the keyboard.

4. Can I just pop the keys off? I was always afraid I'd break them
or something. That would be a help...the vacuum just isn't getting it all..it must be wound around the inside of the keys. Are you sure I could do this?

2. How about getting a keyboard cover?
They keep out coffee spills, too.

3. Keyboard cover?
Unless I can type through it...it wouldn't work. They are up in my lap and hanging on top of the monitor...all the time. When I'm away from the computer they are with me...so a cover isn't necessary...unless there's one I can type through.

I have Siamese...they seem to need constant assurance and resent the computer...that's why the hairs are always over it...:D
