4. I'd miss the maple syrup.
You mean finished as in historically vanquished?

Christ, I hope not. They went blue this year.

11. You know, genevat, I'm having a hell of a time --
-- trying to figureout if we're talking in this thread about hockey or politics.

If it's New Hampshire, yes -- Governor Shaheen. She's pretty awesome & would probably have had a cabinet post under a President Kerry. And yet may.

I guess NH didn't go blue by much, but bless their souls, they were blue nevertheless & I toast them!

She evidently is a refreshing person as well as a savvy politico.

20. I'm not sure. I think she ran the Kerry campaign in --
-- New Hampshire, which was successful in the primary there and (more narrowly) in the general election.

If Kerry-Edwards had been elected, I have a feeling she would have enjoyed a high post. I think New Hampshire is the only 2000 red state to turn blue in 2004.

(At least on the official record!)

13. NH is a great state. One of the better education systems in the US.
Clean air, low crime and just a stone's throw from Boston.
I lived in Salem NH or many years and found it to be a great place to raise a family.
If only the property taxes weren't so high....

17. That's the trade-off for no state income taxes (or sales tax).
"Tax-free New Hampshire" -- not quite!
