How do you keep your temper when it's tough?
Do you have any unusual anger management techniques? I am looking for some new ideas as the "count to ten" stuff is wearing thin ...

2. I quickly visualize myself losing my cool --
screaming, red face, all that, and I imagine how I'd feel once I'd finished.

That almost always works. I hate myself when I flip out.

It's NEVER in your best interests to lose your temper. Winning is a lot more important that shouting.

4. Concentrate on finding
"the perfect squelch"! In other words, I focus on finding the perfect put down to end the conversation/confrontation. I always figured I was smarter than most and should be able to talk my way into or out of any situation.
