I'm in London now, about to give my talk here. Word on the street has it that Channel 5 will be broadcasting the game tonight. Thank God. Gonna do my talk, get some dinner, and then find a sports pub to watch the game.

3. Remeber that old bit that Red Sox fans utter every year at the end of the
season? "Maybe next year." Well a couple of days ago, in Florida no less, I saw a bumper sticker on a car that said, "Maybe THIS year!" Curious, I moved a little closer to see what might be this year and saw the Red Sox logo in the corner.

Maybe this year, Will Pitt. And maybe my husband and you can spend the winter delirious with joy. :D

16. Good Luck on that 'Sport's Pub' thing.
Turkey is playing England at 5:00 pm your time, but the match won't be broadcast for the public until 9:30 your time. You may have a hard time finding a group willing to let go their set for your viewing pleasure. The footie is to be broadcast on satellite/cable however at 5:00. Seek a place with a satellite dish.
