Jael Phelps, granddaughter of Fred Phelps:

“I oppose the ordinance passed by the city council, which equivocated voluntary behavior with immutable characteristics, such as being female, African-American or disabled. There is a moral standard and this not only breaks that, but violates the Constitution,” said Phelps.

8. Roughly speaking
I think it translates into English as "I'm a hate filled bigot who wants to do nothing other than spend my entire life attacking gay people" - that's a very rough translation I can't claim to be fluent in the bizzare quasi-language which she speaks.

it's disturbing and wrong, but i absolutely love the quote about his son that's estranged, nate phelps...who was beaten when he was a kid...

9. An Iowa newspaper wrote about a Phelpsian demonstration
a few years ago. Apparently Freddy was upset about something going on in Iowa that would benefit us faggots and bulldykes, so he and his covey of family-minion weirdos went to the Iowa state house to burn the Iowa flag. (Phelps said to the flag as it burned "burn in fag lust!" ???)

A man was quoted in that article. He walked by the Phelps clan and said to one of the children, a boy about 12 years old, "God doesn't hate anyone." The boy replied, "screw you."

OH how I wish I had known how to save web pages back then.

Yep. Hate-filled assholes is right.
