Turkey-England Anyone?
Anybody watching the game out there? Beckham missed a penalty in the first half, it was just great!

5. Turkey HAS to win!
The game is being played half a mile away from where I am. Couldn't get a ticket though, it was way to expensive.

I'd just like to see a great match. I respect both teams and know hardcore fans of each.

Goal

Edit: offside

I'd love to see the underdogs win, but the English have my respect as well.

10. Well, I'm a fan of Turkey
definitely.

England is not even playing, just trying to get a draw and defending as hard as they can right now.

Oh and I will win $200 if Turkey wins. :)

18. That's great
but that one might be a little more dangerous than England-Turkey!

Great atmosphere and excitement although, the FB-GS matches are the most important events of the day always in Turkey. If you decide to come to Istanbul soon, just let me know, I will buy your ticket for the match. :)

20. Cool..........

yeah, I know that the Gala-Fener derby is one of the most intense and rowdy ones in the world but i would go to the game as a neutral observor.. :)

22. That's OK
You're always welcome. But it will be hard to be a neutral observer when everybody around you goes crazy everytime their team gets a shot, I guess :)

I'm a Fenerbahce fan, btw. We're doing alright at the national league so far, I hope we will win the title this year.

27. My father used to play for Fenerbahce...
...in the early 60's. He lived no more than a mile from the stadium then. I haven't been to Kadikoy since 1995, so it's probably changed a LOT.

GOOOOOOOO TUrKiYE!!!!!

28. Oh my god!
That's just great, what's his name, if you don't mind telling me? Please send him my greetings from Kadikoy, Istanbul!

Kadikoy hasn't changed too much since 1995 but our stadium sure did. Now it's has 50.000 seater capacity and looks much better. You should come and see it sometime :)

15. Shit.
0-0, the game is over.

England qualifies for Euro-2004, Turkey will play a play-off match.

I'm sad. We deserved to win.

It depends on the outcomes of the other games being played tonight. Could be Spain, Holland, Russia and others I guess.

I'm used to it. Did you see the headlines a few months ago? "Turkey mine collapses" or something. I think the Reuters reporters just love to do that :)
