2. No, just a contest
...to see who can make a post with the smallest title. I won, somehow, with a title of zero length. It appears that if you begin a post with the left angle bracket, it and the rest of the title is blank. It's a bug.

It's a bug. If you start a thread with "<" in the subject line, that and all that follows never makes it in the resulting post. Two dozen people thought it was funny. Four thought it was so funny, they recommended the post for the Greatest page.

Of course, if I do it again, it wouldn't be funny anymore, and I'd probably be in big trouble.

Have elad PM me. I'll explain it to him.

Edit: There. I just told on myself. Happy?

9. I Found This Out By Accident
I put <> around the words in the title; I wasn't trying to invoke HTML or anything - just trying to add some emphasis to the title. I posted and it came up blank. Hadn't thought of it again...until now.

i put <gasp> in the subject line, and the entire field was blank! it freaked me out, the way computers can...........

I have a "Weapon of Mass Destruction" if I ever want to use it. And in the hands of a "computer clueless" that could be most destructive if I ever happened to just hit a wrong key. :D

Not to worry. I know how to type so I won't have an "accident" but if I was a "hunt and peck" omg... and, what I could do with that little bit of knowledge. :eyes:
