Well THAT was embarrassing!!!

I just took my dog out in the backyard for a bathroom break. I'm standing there waiting, then I turn to go in when she's finished and I see that my neighbor (male) is standing there, four slats of the fence missing (he's replacing them) and he's just standing stock-still, staring.

I jumped quickly into the house. I was only wearing a t-shirt. ON EDIT: AND UNDERWEAR!!!

Wow. It's gonna be a little weird the next time I see him, isn't it?

3. No, oh my gosh, I found out who that was!!!
It was the AVON LADY!!! She came by when we were eating dinner and rang the doorbell and said she was really embarrassed but she forgot to leave the Avon book earlier. I said "yeah the note was a bit....mysterious."

I don't think she got it.

7. Yeah, but he WAS fixing the fence and it's a shared fence.
So we're pretty happy he's doing that.

Ug, who knew he'd be out there so late working on it? And our yard is usually pretty damn private.

That was awkward.

10. Well, then,
if it comes up, ask him if he enjoyed the tip you were giving him. Oh, I shouldn't have said it that way, but well, you know. Or you could just tell him you thought he'd enjoy a little scenery while working.

14. My friend took her son to school in her nightgown.......and
of course she has a flat tire on the way home..

They woke up late, she put his clothes on him, fed him, and raced out the door.. When she realized that SHE had not gotten dressed, she just said "Oh well, I'll be in the car..who will see me anyway"?

The guy who stopped to help her change the tire never commented on her attire, but she was mortified..

the fuzzy slippers completed the "ensemble".:)

16. I throw on a jacket and some pj pants and athletic slides
so I guess it wouldn't be too bad for me, but I have that fear, too, as I take my daughter to school when I'm looking RATHER unkempt!

22. I think he was more like....
a deer in the headlights. One of those situations where you are just paralyzed and don't know what to do. At least that's how he looked.

He had a board in one hand, nails in his mouth, a hammer in the other hand, and big dinner-plate eyes. And he was totally frozen.

In his defense, I don't think he expected me to appear five feet away from him on my back porch, half-dressed.
