Why the hell am I getting an occasional pop-up?

I have Mozilla Firefox, I haven't had pop-ups since I got it, but as of last week I'll get fucking pop-ups!

Its not really bad, just like one or two when I log onto DU in the morning, and there's this one site I get song lyrics from and I'll get one there.

So really, wtf?

I don't care if it's the greatest deal in the world, I absolutely refuse to give them my business. Fuck em, I feel like my privacy is being invaded every time a pop-up, pops up
