that is really for the halo, all those posts?!?! yuck.

i had a friend once in a halo. he was out of the hospital and starting to get around a bit. i saw him in town. i had a really bad hangover, and i almost hurled looking at those screws in his head. i hoped it would never happen to me or anybody else i had to look at. i get goosebumps thinking about it.

more power to you nurses! i'd suck at that job... i'm a gardener. it's about all the trauma i can stand........

I saw a show on Discovery Health channel with a guy who had tattoos over 100% of his body. I think he was called Lizard boy or something.

Well, as part of the show, they filmed Lizard Boy seeing a therapist. He said that the reason he did it was because he likes it when people are repulsed by him.

Plus, the therapist said there is absolutely nothing wrong with him. That he's probably more well adjusted than people who try so hard to fit in, or be "attractive" to mainstream society, or whatever.

that's my perspective

Also, I was never into body modification, but that was my crowd in High School. Screw the Jocks!
