My daughter's boyfriend flipped out on it (Delsym, to be exact), broke into a woman's house, and slaughtered her dog. The cops had to taser him to get him out of there. It was really a terrible thing, and he's been in jail since last February. Nice kid, too.
I did a lot of cheap highs myself when I was a kid, but this really freaked me out.

Word to the wise......

ed. DXM is found in a lot of over-the-counter cough and cold medicines, Coricidin, Robitussin, etc.

He's really kind of a quiet, shy kid, and didn't seem to have a violent bone in his body. It was devastating to my daughter (she's 19) because she still loves him. This has been a very difficult year for both of them. He was so messed up that he didn't even get a semblance of his mind back for about two weeks after this happened. It was truly a scary episode.

46. I worked in a Pharmacy for a couple months and I was amazed
at how many empty boxes of Robitussin I'd find hidden behind other stuff due to theives.

If you drink too much Robotussin, watch out because you will have a seriously hard core trip (not nessecarily pleasant one). I'm not joking. But too much cough syrup can also make you extremely sick to your stomach

I never tried it, one of the few kicks that didn't involve needles that I didn't. A couple of friends I had in college partook, but with the ready availability of other, far more enjoyable (IMO) highs I never cared to give it a spin.
