I just discovered I like soy milk.
I've tried the stuff a few times before, but I've always ended up dumping the glass, unable to finish it.

After the "blood and pus in milk" thread here in the Lounge the other day, I found I'm now unable to drink regular milk, but soy milk tastes delicious.

It's amazing how the brain operates.

3. some folks have a problem with soy
Edited on Fri Mar-04-05 05:48 AM by greenman3610
for instance, allergies, or, there is
evidence that consuming a lot of soy
may dampen thyroid function.
For those folks who still want to stay
away from dairy, there is
rice milk, which I use a lot of,
and is very satisfactory.

5. The first time I tried it, my reaction was "Ugh! Baby formula!"
When I told my mother, she informed me that at 3 months I was switched to formula that was soy. Funny how primitive your memory can be, especially as I wasn't old enough to verbalize the concept of formula.

It turned out great - I didn't know how it would be. I guess you can use Soy milk for hot chocolate, cocoa?

I'm getting to like it more as I try different brands. The Silk brand is the best I've found so far.
