Garbage Truck Compacts Homeless Man Sleeping In Dumpster (he lived!)
http://www.turnto10.com/news/4249795/detail.html

A homeless man was compacted by a waste container truck three times and lived to tell about it.

Providence officials said the man was sleeping in a dumpster off Elm Street, when the trash crews came by at about 4 a.m. Thursday.

The compacting process was stopped when the driver heard screams coming from the back of his vehicle.

Manuel Gomes, 48, was conscious and alert when he was brought to Rhode Island Hospital with back troubles, where he is listed in fair condition.

5. There's gonna be a lot of elderly & disabled sleeping in bins if Shrub
gets his way with SS reform.

We're laughing, but this is tragic.

6. I'm not laughing
Many military personnel are now sleeping on the streets as are the disadvantaged. Bush wishes to ignore their existance. Guess what? They won't go away.

7. Homeless, toothless, lice infested, hungry Veterans
Coming soon to a neighborhood near you, complete with their angry PTSD affected personalities and their unkempt hair and beards.

Tens of thousands are being created today, by the Bush Criminals.

8. My comment was genuine and heartfelt,
I hope it didn't appear that I was making fun or laughing.

It's tragic that the man is homeless and I genuinely feel sorry for the poor guy. I can remember stories of homeless dying from sleeping in dumpsters.

It's really awful that Bush's faith based initiatives don't do their Christian duty and provide more homeless shelters. Our country treats our Veterans, the mentally ill and the poor awful, the elderly aren't far behind.
