2. Are you sure it's not being sarcastic?
The fact that there is a guy standing in front of him in a cartoonish bush mask and what appears to be a dress leads me to believe there may be protesters on both sides of the aisle, which means that there is the outside chance that the sign is sarcastic. Maybe not.

The Bush stooge in front posed in front of the fundies to make a joke at the stupid signs. THose signs show up at every major protest in DC & NYC. The Bush guy was part of our team

11. The guy kneeling in front seems to be "Bush" calling himself a liar.
"Confession... I am a stupid liar" is what it seems to be saying to me. I think this must be sarcastic, unless I'm reading that wrong.

I actually was there when the picture was taken. The bush guy was part of the anti-war rally and he ran up to pose in front of these 2 fundies.
