Martin Scorsese unlucky 7?
Why was Scorsese snubbed?
Scorsese's Raging Bull was better than Million Dollar Baby and it didn't win.....

1. Kevin Costner is a better director than Scorcese.
He won an Oscar, anyway. :eyes:

3. Actors DO make good directors I think...
Scorsese is a GREAT director and well deserves an Oscar but I have a problem with all the press critics saying these actors, Redford, Eastwood, Costner didn't deserve their Oscars... Directors only vote for the directors award, it's not a popularity contest with all the academy members...so these directors duly won I suppose...

4. It is a popularity contest.
That's exactly what it is.
