Well, folks, I won't be working the day shift in the Lounge anymore.
There's a big realignment at work, and they're moving my desk and everything. Oh, did I mention that this realignment into a team-structured atmosphere also counts as a demotion? I'll pretty much end up doing the same entry-level crap I did when I started here. With that said, my daytime on DU is pretty much over. I'll be lurking in the evenings, though.
It's been fun. :hi:

5. No, this was a long time coming.
I work as an engineer for a washroom partition company. Basically, what they're doing is phasing out AutoCAD in favor of a customized software program that a monkey could use. So, in such few words, bye-bye meal ticket.

The Lounge will NOT be the same without you. But if we can get some of the daytime DU'ers to post at night...it will sort of seem just as cool. :-)

14. If your at work and visiting here, they are probably watching everything
your writing. I know people who got fired for blogging on their lunch time. They were fired because they were using the company's resources. I would never blog from work to dangerous. I hope that isn't what is going on with you.

21. No, I don't think I need to worry.
We've been told at this job what's fair use and what isn't.
Of course, I wouldn't blog from work. But I do surf, as does everyone else in the office.
