Interview today at 2:00, wish me luck, please
I have an interview for a good financial reporting job today at 2:00. It's something I'm well qualified for, but it's a slightly different field than most of my prior accounting & financial reporting experience. The good thing is that the base salary is probably $5K higher than what I'm making now and if my mom watches our 2 year old daughter during the daytime in the summer, it will make my commute home much easier (this office is 5 minutes from my parents' house, my current one is 20-25, depending on traffic) I'll have to compare benefits and everything, but we already use the health & dental at my wife's company as it is.

(PS, also have an interview in Richmond on Monday for a job I'm almost perfectly qualified for...)

2. Good luck
I'm looking for a new job, too, but I am having a problem finding something that pays enough. My pay got cut at the beginning of the year and I am just barely getting by right now. I've got the same amount of money going out every month as I do coming in. There are jobs out there, but very few good paying jobs.

4. I know what you mean
Once you start making a decent salary, there are fewer job opportunities for you to make more if you don't like your current job. My current job is okay, but I'm bored most of the time and not challenged at all. We're not rich by any means, but my wife & I both make decent salaries and it's not easy to find something equivalent or better once you reach a certain level.
