DU absinthe drinkers...what brand do you recommend?
I got my tax return back and I want to order some absinthe to try. But I'm not one to rush out and get the first I see. I have done some research but realized that the one I want is way too expensive...

Any middle of the road varieties that are good?

4. The LCB guy told us none of the stuff for sale in the US is real
It's basically de-natured absinthe, with all the fun hallucinatory properties taken out.

I think Portugal is one of the few places where you can buy the stuff that will make you crazy/crazier
