"King of New York" v. "New Jack City"
Both early '90's releases about a drug lord's rise to (and fall from) power.

I loved them both, for different reasons. My first exposure to Christopher Walken, who I really liked in this movie. "Am I Black Enough For You" by Schooly D is on the KONY soundtrack.

Wesley Snipes was in both.

Discuss.

1. King of New York is a much better film than New Jack City is my only
comment, I can't compare them as a result.

2. I have to agree
because the acting in King of New York was much better. I think it was more "realistic" too.

New Jack City appealled more to youngsters who weren't interested in acting per se, but the whole hip hop experience.

I love King of New York.
