People should say (and do) that more often.

I'm just sayin'.

2. They should do it more often?
I came within about two inches of feeling one hit my foot yesterday. I dodge spittle every day, it seems. I couldn't disagree more.

Unless, of course, you're not serious. In that case:

hoick!

ptooey!

3. That phrase is sooooo '70s!
But we could update it to:

"You hocked a buttload of a loogey in my pants!"

9. Well someone has to date you.
:D

If it's any consolation I thought to myself, after seeing spittle on the ground, ahhh someone hocked a loogie.

I can't ever get a good one going to make a difference. Mine would be more like a fine mist than an actual loogie.

4. In Pennsyvania, we didn't call them "loogeys,"
we called them "lungers." (With a hard G.)

I'll just bet your day has been immeasurably brightened by gaining this knowledge. Glad I could help.

13. There's a band called "Hockaloogie"
I've never seen them perform, so I don't know if they're good or not. They get a lot of play dates, so that's a good sign.

Heh...in high school, in the '70s, I once saw a guy hock a loogey right on the gap of a door and doorjamb. Whenever the door opened on the hinges, the loogey would expand, then contract as it closed...then next time, expand and contract...expand and contract...

We were outside smoking in the "smoking area," and it was fascinating. Almost as good as the time the school's biggest dealer dropped a film can of purple microdot on the dark red entry rug in the hall. Heh...he's picking up all these little dots, hard to see on that rug, and here comes a teacher.

'What are you doing?"

"I lost my contact!"

"Oh." She walked on.

WHEW!

He never did get all the dots back...and some scavengers got a free trip later...heheheheh...

not a big fan of that one! But just to prove I'm not a total prude, I do find "drop a deuce" to be quite funny
