2. Huh? What?
I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention

Seriously I could see why you would say that but she hasn't been in many movies and they have been odd choices so far-so we will see.

8. Thats just wrong!
I was talking about that movie with my roommate yesterday. She didn't see what the big deal was, and I tried to explain that the first one was such a classic that it would be sacrilege to have him in the re-make.

We go from Spencer Tracy, Sidney Poitier and Katharine Hepburn to Ashton Kutcher!

13. Can a family survive a father's underlying antipathy towards total idiots?
Sounds like a good flick!

None of those people sound remotely interesting..and the plot sounds dull ...

offspring?? as in ??

The way the original left off.. she bolted from her wedding and ran off with Dustin Hoffman.. Their "offspring" would be pretty aware of "the story".. That's not something you could hide ...Grandparents talk to their grandkids about stuff their parents did when they were young..

......

Regardless of who acts in the "sequel", it will be a bomb.. Graduate was a one of a kind..right for the moment in time...kind of movie..

10. Graduate ending
I know its a bit subtle, but the Graduate ends with the two lovebirds sitting on a bus looking somewhat blank and not talking, not exactly the kind of thing two people who just went through a crazed scene would or should be doing. I think Nichols was giving us a harsher ending than most people realized. As I saw it, despite their adventurous "nonconformity" as in running from the wedding/church/middle class, the two still appeared to be doomed. Almost as if they were using each other to escape without really connecting with each other.

11. Perhaps, but that's what good movies do..
They let the viewer decide some things.. It's all about make-believe, and spelling everything out ruins it :)
