It seems that I forgot a basket of laundry in the laundry room...two weeks ago. (They were clean and dry.) Do you think my neighbours peeked? ...I feel so exposed.

2. Hell I wouldn't worry about it , you probably bought all of it somewhere
to not be ashamed of. Toss it if you must. If I was your neighbor I wouldn't have touched it for my life. To much respect.

3. It depends on what was in there.
Could you post some pics of your delicates? There's no way of telling you without a visual.

5. That's exactly right Zen
Thank you for pointing it out. I thought this was an open and shut case, but as you noted we're gonna need to see some evidence in order to make the proper judgement. david

7. I forgot my laundry for 2 weeks
Do you seriously think I'm going to remember the exact content? Let's just say that I have enough 'delicates' that I can go for weeks without doing laundry.

11. Oh dear oh dear oh dear
and 2 weeks is a looooong time for delicates to go unnoticed by your neighbors. If I were you I'd try not to make eye contact with anyone in your building for a couple months. david

The only time they go into the laundry room is to jack up the price of laundry. Actually, I think they hire someone to do that.
