Has anyone noticed more suspicious folks posting recently?

I came on board in October, and even though people were constantly carrying on about "trolls", I saw very little of it (one person who had "Vote Hillary" sig line got dumped, and I spiked someone myself, but not much more than that.

Now in the past week or two, I've seen quite a few posts from people with low post counts (yes, I know I was one once!) that are subtly defensive of the Bush administration. Not out and out trolling, mind you (that probably gets deleted before I see it), but suspicious.

Have I been infected with DU paranoia, or are other people sensing a trend as well?

Perhaps they realize their chimp is in trouble. The people aren't buying his SS Deforms.

11. You know, I always hope for that.

Once in a while, when someone sets up a link the Free Republic or copies a whole thread from there, I'll see a moderate post nestled among the insane and ungrammatical misspelled rantings, and I'll think "okay, that's wrong, but it's not a bad argument" and it gets me thinking.

I doubt these folks are that open-minded, but one never knows.
