I idiotically gave up alcohol for Lent. Pfffft!

Actually I'm glad, I was drinking a bit too much. This will give me a chance to sober up so I can get sloppy drunk again in 4 more weeks...

Yeah, I'd hate giving up alcohol permanently, but I can totally see how people become addicts. It's really easy to get into the habit, and really easy to let it increase to a dependency.

Life is good, though!

I am not sure, I am going to a friends house, where I usually ending drinking beer (Sammy Smith's Taddy Porter maybe?) but I may decide to pick up a couple bottles of wine on the way instead.

20. vodka martinis. Does it really matter if shaken or stirred?
I've never specified so I get whatever they give me. I've wondered if I got one of each side by side, would I be able to tell the difference?

A coworker who is about to get a gastric bypass has organized a big night out so she can eat and drink all that she'll have to give up forever, so I'm expecting some heavy partying. Any information on the vodka martinis? Is it too "James Bond obnoxious" to order it STIRRED?

I think I will pick up some red wine on the way home tonite. Maybe order in a pizza. Think the wife picked up some movies. Will probably have to sit through my daughters Spongebob movie, first, before we can get to ours. (only one dvd player)
