Pssssst, somebody tell Stephanie it's 62 in the shade at havocmom's
and I am gonna hit the hammock and soak up some rays! Maybe I'll put some Jimmy Buffett on the CD player on my way out.

Ah, life in a northern town...

1. Now, just a cotton-pickin' minute here,
I'm numerous degrees south of you and a bunch lower (15 feet above sea level) and it's only 25 here!

Not fair!

3. Yeah, but I bet you have moisture! LOL
There are still some remains of the big snow piles pushed off the roads in Dec, but the ground is already cracking! Living on allergy meds as the dust is getting bad.

Fear not, my cold friend, we will get ours soon hereabouts. Calves are about to be born and it always seems to get nasty for the bulk of that project. The lambs and ewes are toasty though! ;)

4. Wayward daughter is in Tucson and we have had several days with
similar high temps! Even the far-right-wingers here are beginning to suspect there might just be something to 'this global warming thing'. ;)

Hells bells, I'm planting some greens this weekend! Lettuces and spinach can take the bit of cold we likely still have ahead of us. Might as well get some salad comin up!

5. Oh, and you New England kiddies get fresh seafood!
Me, I'm stuck with frozen fish. x( Yuck!

But, man o man, I may have to fire up the blender and make some Margaritas today! Phew, had to put on a short sleeve tee shirt and some sunscreen!

May be doing my Scarlet O'Hara bit soon! Lawdy, I'm just wiltin' here!

6. Yes, we get fresh seafood in New England,
but I can't eat any...I'm hideously allergic to shellfish! (Not that I think I'd want to eat a shrimp anyway. Looks too much like a big old bug when it still has its legs on.)
