Has anyone tried hypnosis?

I have been thinking about trying some tapes, does it work? Mainly for smoking and memory.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming is a powerful approach to hypnosis. I've used it to deal with social anxiety and PTSD. I imagine it can be used for anything. If you go to a hypnotist, be sure they don't plant suggestions for you to buy more products from them. It's a slightly annoying and (I feel) unethical practice that's apparently fairly common.

Before my back injuries made it hard for me to concentrate fully and be able to hypnitize my clients.

Hypnosis is very effective for smoking cessation. If you can, look for a hypnotherapist in your area who's certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH). NGH developed a four-session smoking cessation course we used to use that had extremely high success rates.

8. it might help- it takes a lot of practice i think to be able to get into a

a state, you might want to check out some books on the basic practice of it before doing the tapes.
