OH WOW!!! We had a treat at school today!!!!!

Knights, Ladies, weavers, leather worker. It was the cooliest thing!!! They were members of The Society For Creative Anachronism! It was so... WOW!

The S.C.A. divides the known World, the territory where members live, into regions called kingdoms. It now includes the United States, most of the Canadian Provinces, Australia, Sweden, and U.S. armed forces bases in Europe and the Far East. Each Kingdom has a King and Queen, selected by tournament combat.

The kingdom of Calontir (the name is derived from a Welsh phrase meaning Heartlands) encompasses Missouri, Kansa, Nebraska, Most of Iowa, and the Fayetteville Region of Arkansas.

Each Kingdom further partitions its area into shires,baronies, and cantions.

I live in the area called the Shire of Crystal Mynes.
