1. Does "war driving" in the midst of tech companies count?

7. You get your laptop and a buddy w/his w/wireless, drive around and
pick up wireless networks. Then you stop and use the wireless router (that the company left unprotected) to surf the net in your car. It sounds odd but is kinda like the old concept of sneaking in the drive in movies (except you do not have to get in the trunk).

9. Sounds interesting
I would just rather surf the Net at home, though.

15. Most of the time yes but "war driving" lets you stick it to "the man."

18. I normally hit the wall anywhere from 2-4 AM.
That's on the first overnight shift. The second one isn't as bad. But I just dream of the day when I can work my own hours.

8. I'm sorry
Does that mean you're unemployed right now? I guess I just resent having to work 55 to 60 hours a week to make ends meet. I'm tired and want to enjoy life more.

17. Unemployed...
We moved from Chattanooga to Birmingham so the SO could go for pre-med. We both had comparatively well-paying jobs as insurance sales consulatants there, but I've sent countless resumes out and had my chain jerked by several headhunters on jobs, none of which materialized. It'll get better, though. It never rains in the same place all the time.

16. My office is in my house
so it's kind of hard sometimes not to be "at work" especially when the projects pile up.
