1. If your talking about the baseball book
I have read it. It was a great book, easy read. It got me hooked on Sabermetrics and I loved the way Beane handled trade negotiations and used other GM's against each other.

2. Yep
Great stuff, a tad too "kiss-ass" towards the A's, but still a great book. A fabulous illustration of a unique and exemplary effort to run a "small-market" MLB team.

5. So far I agree
There are other small market teams out there that are somewhat successful (as in - they make the playoffs). But I find some of Lewis' writing to be laugh out loud funny.

From the brink of contraction to a perennial division winner.

Keep reading, it is an excellent book.

8. It actually makes me want to write my own book
About being a fan of a baseball team in "flyover" land.
