New 'South Park' next Wednsday; is anyone else PSYCHED?

Last season was kinda LAME, compared to earlier shows.
Has the show simply lost it's "new" factor, and it's ability to shock and surprise us?

Or was it just an "OFF" season, from which Matt and Trey will surely rebound?

Or was it always this bad, and I only noticed because I can't afford weed anymore?

Discuss. Your input is important to me.

i dunno...they went into kind of a "rant" mode; rather than poking fun, and just being wierd, they got to political and focused. the great thing about south park was the randomness... now, you almost see every joke from the beginning.

not to mention, they seem to be taking on easier targets, and stuff that is just shocking for shocking's sake. though, i will say, the christmas episode (with the satanic animals) was fucking hilarious :D

2. South Park can be pee in your pants funny
sometimes it isn't or maybe it has to do with mood.Like in any eposodic show there are going to be some loosers and winners
The big part of the show is how far they can push it,and when they are on,they are really on

3. 'Turd Sandwich' was excellent commentary, mostly...
...and the Christmas episode was jaw-droppingly offensive, in a good way. It's hard for them to keep shocking us year after year.

4. I don't watch much TV, but I did catch the
"Stupid Spoiled Whores" episode, which was pretty good.
