Does your company have dept names that make no sense or are funny?
I'm in the IT department at an insurance company. Its pretty hard to tell from the names of the departments what they actually do. But my favorite one is "Catastrophe Planning"!

2. Yup- the "anal" lab.....
Thats the way it is abbreviated, it is actually the analytical lab. It is funny when one of the maintenance guys gets a trouble call to go to the anal lab.

Production, Quality, Maintenance, Shipping, Receiving, HR, Accounting.

4. I worked for a company where HR was called Employee Experience
It was one of those touchy, feely kind of places. So west coast.
