Wild In The Streets
A 1968 movie about extending the right to vote to those 15 and older.

Staring Shelly Winters and a young Richard Prior.

It is crazy! Probably one of the most interesting movies I have seen in a long time. Its wild. A pop singer who sings for those 25 and younger begins to rise the youth in an attempt to get the vote.

I don't want to give anymore away, but has anyone see it?

The music and cinematography rocks, and what ends up happening to America after the kids can vote is, well....wild. It leads you to draw some interesting conclusions about Democracy and power.

3. The scene with
with Winters in the "camp" is crazy! Who knew the sitar and drums could create such ominous music.

The trailer says The movie is a must see for those under 30, and a can't miss for those 30 and over. Its definitely chilling.

thanks for the recommendation.

A friend found the DVD special edition with Gas-s-s-s (i haven't yet watched it) at Best Buy for 5 bucks. The plot is a gas is let loose on America that kills anyone 25 or older.
