Flashback: Oasis' Liam Hurls "Nipple" At Beatles' Harrison
Though this story is several years old, I think the idea that the young devour the old in rock and roll is still a timely one. The classic figures of rock cannot take their station for granted; look what happens when they do.

"I still love the Beatles and I still love George Harrison as a song writer in the Beatles, but as a person I think he's a f***ing nipple. And if I ever meet him I'll f**king tell him. And if you're watching, NIP-PLE!", Gallagher told MTV Europe.

9. Think about it this way
in 40 years when you mention Oasis everyone is going to go "Who?" But then will get you twenty that in another 40 years people will still know who the Beatles were.

There's a reason Oasis never touched the Beatles. For one, I don't think they ever screamed that their fellow musicians were "nipples."

10. With Oasis
it was more like neverwas. The whole problem with Oasis was the Gallagher brothers. I mean rock & roll has has some juvenile assholes in its ranks but the only contribution the Gallaghers ever gave to it was to raise the bar on such behavior.
