Michael Jackson Recreation Show?? I give up!
I was flipping channels last night and saw a show (I think it was on E!) where they recreate the Michael Jackson trial using actors a few hours after the trial ends for the day. It's to get around the fact that there aren't any cameras allowed.

I don't really mean this, but maybe the country isn't worth saving from the Repukes. Americans could give a rat's ass what is happening to Social Security, the environment, education, etc. -- and I'm not even talking about foreign affairs. And yet, this damn circus gets wall-to-wall coverage.

1. You've got to be kidding?
I can see it if it were a parody on comedy central.

12. It actually looks like an SNL skit.
It's all actors -- including one dressed up to look like Jackson.

2. That is crazy

They should do it entirely with a cast of little people, like "The Terror of Tiny Town".

"Sheriff, what did you find when you searched the Neverland ranch?"

3. Keith Olbermann does a "puppet show"
and does all the voices for the little stick people. Funny as hell, and definitely a slam to the whacko-jacko obsessed media.

He also "showed" highlights of MSNBC's "LIVE" Martha's release coverage...hysterical !

5. Reminds me of a funny part of the OJ deal
Wow, was it that long ago, the OJ Simpson phenom?

Anyway, CourtTV did a recreation of the wrongful death civil case (as cams were banned after the circus of the murder trial) similar to what's going on with the MJ trial.

The always sharp Harry Shearer spoofed this on his syndicated radio program "Le Show" by recreating the recreation. In the "segment," the OJ actor was in the office with the CourtTV producers complaining about how this role wasn't fully maximizing his talents as a thespian, since all he was doing was nodding his head and looking around. It's actually more hilarious than my description; it might still be in archive at www.harryshearer.com

And I might also recommend Harry's parody of Diane Rehm interviewing the NPR corporate funding announcer ("Support for this program comes from...")

8. Yep, It's on E!.
They even have an actor playing the part of Michael Jackson. They even have the actor dressed the exact same way MJ was on any particular day. I don't know why they even need an actor to play MJ since he isn't able to talk in the court room anyhow. Court TV shows the arrival of MJ every morning at the courthouse too.

10. Ever notice that Michael Jackson walks like Mickey Mouse?
Just a casting consideration.
