It's stopped raining and we are having the most magnificent spring.

Orchids are blooming in Death Valley and I'm driving out there next weekend or the one after that.

I'm on the coast, but we have fields of blooming blues, and purples and oranges on the greenest hills we've ever had.

It looks like frickin' Ireland. :D

Well, up here in northern AZ, we have gotten all your rain as either rain or snow, so we have had the TWICE the normal precipitation, and the mountains have amazing snowcovers. It's wetter than when I lived in Seattle!

Glad to hear you all will come out of the dampness okay. I bet the flowers are amazing, and I urge you to make that Death Valley trip. :D

I see you're upstate. I'm in upstate NY as well, and I'm a junior at Geneseo. It's in a great area(rural though), it has great people, and it gives you a great education at a great price. I'm so glad to be here.

Not my cup of tea... the lack of diversity I felt when I stepped on the campus was a big negative. And I'd like to be in a city location.

Boston University is my first choice, if that gives you the impression of what I was looking for :)

I've lived in a small town all my life. Kinda looking for something different, ya know?

Geneseo is really more diverse than you think.

I'm from Syracuse, so yes it was a big change.

But I do think the campus is getting more diverse.

I visited BU as well and it wasn't my thing, so I understand.

I didn't want to go to school in a big city because I wanted to be able to keep my car with me and not have to deal with traffic and all that.

Plus im a huge Yankee fan, so, yeah, no Boston for me.
