10. "Barracuda" by Heart
Love that "Seattle Sound" :P

After that, a random selection of 80s electro/industrial tracks (Front Line Assembly, Ministry, Skinny Puppy), and then on to the 10-CD Cocteau Twins singles box set from 1991.

Yeah, I'm a little old-fashioned. But then again I'm 35 :D

18. Yeah, I never get tired of listening to them
I was in a couple shoe-gazer bands in the late 80s/early 90s when I was in college, and for some reason all that stuff stayed with me. I could be quite content on a desert island with Treasure and Heaven or Las Vegas and nothing else.

I just wish they'd get over their spat and reunite. Hey, if Dead Can Dance, the orignal Gang of Four and the (UK) Chameleons can do it, why can't they?

20. You're not kidding.
Their stuff just kind of never quits for me. "Pitch the Baby" is one of my top favorites! The first time I heard "Love's Easy Tears" it was almost an epiphany. Played it over and over again for days.

I don't keep up with what happened to them, and I had been wondering...that's too bad...

Xanadu (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Side 2

(Mostly) forgotten ELO. Actually quite listenable, a melange of styles from Out Of The Blue and Discovery only more obviously disco-inspired. I'm on the third track (Don't Walk Away) now.

Everybody walkin' down the street
Everybody movin' to the beat
They're gonna get hot down in the U.S.A.
(New York, Detroit, L.A.)

A place, where nobody dared to go
The love that we came to know
They call it Xanadu

Anybody got a 1978 Chrysler Cordoba with original Corinthian leather interior and gutless slant-six engine? I want one in burgundy with the vinyl top, just like Richardo Montalban.

47. There's a great hybrid of The Tubes and a big band on that LP...
...if I remember correctly.

I saw Xanadu in the theatre, with my mom...and yet I grew up straight. Go figure!
