Brita filter vs. Poland Spring
Our tap water, while perfectly fine to drink, is not so tasty - lots of chlorine and mineral/metallic taste.

We've always bought Poland Spring bottled water for drinking and use the tap for washing, cooking etc. But the damn stuff is SO expensive, and it's a pain to lug into our apartment. A Brita tap filter gives water at $0.20/gallon (100 gallons per filter, a filter is $20), and will cure the taste problem and save me labor.

But: my wife refuses. She somehow finds the concept of filtered water to be gross. Does anyone have any suggestions for arguments to wield against her?

4. I use the Brita pitcher with the filter in it
The filters are about six bucks and last 90 days for a "normal family."

It definitely makes my tap water taste better.
