I have laryngitis.
Full blown laryngitis. No one can hear me when I talk. The effort of trying to make myself heard gives me a headache. My throat is rebelling.

Good thing I can still type.

:(

1. Me, too.
Haven't been able to even squeak for three days. It's SO annoying.

2. It is, isn't it?
This happened to me once before, about 10-12 years ago when I was working in radio. I thought my voice was NEVER coming back, and it was the source of great anxiety.

Today, my livelihood doesn't rest on my voice, but it's still very annoying.

3. I have it too.
Edited on Sat Mar-05-05 10:34 PM by MrOctober
When I went to my campus cafe earlier this evening, and I went up to the counter, I couldn't get any words out to the guy. I said something like "have cha please". And he was like what? And I barely managed to sputter out the words mocha please. I've totally lost most of my voice and the coughing is awful.

hope you get better soon

6. That's annoying!
I hope it gets better soon!

I'm way too verbal and when I can't talk it drives me mad. :)

I used to get laryngitis a couple of times a year.
I don't anymore, dunno why...
