Does anyone have a Panasonic DMR-E80H DVD Recorder?

I'm looking into switching over to DVD for my recording purposes and this looks like a great model. Anyone have any personal experience with this or any of the other Panasonic DVD recorders?

I didn't even know they were running ads on them. I just started looking around and it seemed like the best model. I especially like the 80 hour hard-drive and ad skipping features. It's a DVD tv-recorder junkie's dream.

3. What I usually do before buying such items

is to check out the Customer Reviews at Amazon.com. There are 25 reviews there on that machine, and most of them go into considerable detail.

4. Thanks, but I've already read those

I was hoping someone here had one. It looks like it's a good model to get from the reviews I've seen there and elsewhere. The negatives that it does have won't be major problems for my use.

Sony DRX-510UL AND PIONEER DVR - A06 are quite good.
